Ich habe zwei iid setzt Zufallsvariablen fort $X_0, X_1$, mit PDF $f$, wo die Unterstützung $\subset$ $[0,\infty)$.
Ich muss rechnen $P(X_0 \geq X_1)$. Ich weiß, die Antwort ist$\frac{1}{2}$aufgrund der Symmetrie. Ich möchte es jedoch direkt mit Integralen beweisen.
Mein Versuch:
Wir wissen das $f(x,y) = f(x)f(y)$. Also muss zeigen:
$\int_{0}^{\infty} \int_{0}^{x_0}f(x_1)f(x_0)\,dx_1\,dx_0 = \frac{1}{2}$
Schon seit $f(x,y) = f(x)f(y)$ ist ein PDF, das wir haben:
$1 = \int_{0}^{\infty} \int_{0}^{\infty}f(x_1)f(x_0) \,dx_1\,dx_0 = \int_{0}^{\infty} \int_{0}^{x_0}f(x_1)f(x_0) \,dx_1\,dx_0 + \int_{0}^{\infty} \int_{x_0}^{\infty}f(x_1)f(x_0) \,dx_1\,dx_0 $
Es reicht also zu zeigen, dass: $\int_{0}^{\infty} \int_{0}^{x_0}f(x_1)f(x_0) \,dx_1\,dx_0 = \int_{0}^{\infty} \int_{x_0}^{\infty}f(x_1)f(x_0) \,dx_1\,dx_0 $
Schlussfolgern. Ich habe versucht, das Integral zu manipulieren, konnte es aber nicht zeigen. Ich denke, ich muss Fubini verwenden, bin mir aber nicht sicher.

Die Annahme, dass $\mathbb P(X_0\geqslant 0)=1$ist nicht nötig. Durch die Integration nach Teilen können wir das zeigen\begin{align} \mathbb P(X_0\geqslant X_1) &= \int_{-\infty}^\infty \int_{-\infty}^{x_0} f(x_1)f(x_0)\ \mathsf dx_1\ \mathsf dx_0\\ &=\int_{-\infty}^\infty F(x_0) f(x_0)\ \mathsf dx_0\\ &= \left[F(x_0)^2 \right]_{-\infty}^\infty - \int_{-\infty}^\infty F(x_0)f(x_0)\ \mathsf dx_0\\ &= 1 - \int_{-\infty}^\infty F(x_0) f(x_0)\ \mathsf dx_0, \end{align} und daher $$ \int_{-\infty}^\infty F(x_0) f(x_0)\ \mathsf dx_0 = 1 - \int_{-\infty}^\infty F(x_0) f(x_0)\ \mathsf dx_0, $$ so dass $$ \int_{-\infty}^\infty F(x_0) f(x_0)\ \mathsf dx_0 = \frac12, $$ das vervollständigt den Beweis.
