Espacio entre tabular y título * Tabla interior

Question

Estoy insertando dos tabulars en uno tablepara los paneles A y B. El tabletiene uno caption, y cada uno tabulartambién tiene uno de la caption*siguiente manera.

Y descubrí que el espacio entre el primero tabulary el segundo caption*es demasiado estrecho. Los otros tres espacios ( caption- caption*, caption*- tabular, caption*- tabular) están bien. ¿Por qué tienen diferentes lagunas?

También intenté subtables de la siguiente manera, pero aún así la brecha estrecha se ve fea.

Aquí agrego mi versión ( \vspace{10pt}para \caption*y \vspace{6pt}para \subcaption*) pero no sé si es la mejor.
