Cowplot plot_grid (): Título en la trama

Estoy tratando de incluir un título en un gráfico ensamblado creado con plot_grid(). Probé tanto la solución propuesta en la cowplotguía de referencia aquí por @Claus Wilke, como la solución sugerida aquí como parte de las preguntas en sí (extrayendo el título de un ggplotobjeto vacío ).

En ambos casos, puedo construir un objeto solo con el título. Sin embargo, cuando trato de incluirlo en un gráfico de una columna junto con otros dos objetos, sucede algo extraño. Si trato de incluirlo en la parte superior (por ejemplo, especificando el plot_grid()parámetro rel_heights(0.1,1,0.5), de manera similar a lo que sugiere el primer enlace que publiqué arriba, la salida incluye solo un espacio vacío. Por el contrario, si trato de invertir el orden de los gráficos (es decir, incluyendo el título a continuación) las parcelas principales), la salida es exactamente como debería ser y el título se traza debajo de las parcelas.

¿Alguna idea de por qué está sucediendo esto? mi configuración no es notablemente diferente de los ejemplos hechos en las referencias que incluí, excepto por la orientación del gráfico principal (que está cuadriculado como una sola columna en lugar de en una sola fila)

Prueba esto. Es agregar el título como una etiqueta y quitarlo de la posición rel_heights. Tenga en cuenta también que rel_heights es igual a 1.
