Perhaps it means that she really loves you.

Maybe she typed a heart <3 and thought, “I love him more than anything. That less-than symbol has no place in my love for him.” So she took it out.

Unless she's showing other signs of a serious crush on you I would assume it was a typo. It'll avoid some embarrassing moments.
