Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS Limitazione significativa del processore Intel i7

Non sono stato in grado di accedere al mio nuovo laptop (un HP ZBook 15 G2 con processore Intel Core i7-4810MQ Quad Core 3,7 GHz) per evitare di rallentare SIGNIFICATIVAMENTE i miei processori su Ubuntu 20.04.

Inizialmente è iniziato a meno di 400 MHz. Ho provato a modificare le impostazioni del governor per Intel-Pstate in prestazioni, ho provato a disabilitare il governor su Grub. Ho trovato un sacco di suggerimenti online che sono stati tentati.

Il mio ultimo tentativo mi ha fatto cambiare completamente i Governor della CPU in acpi-cpufreq Governor e impostarlo su prestazioni o ondemand. Questo ha avuto un effetto, ma ora la frequenza massima è impostata su 900 MHz. Ho provato a utilizzare cpufreq-set per modificare manualmente anche quello senza successo.

Qualsiasi aiuto sarebbe apprezzato perché l'ho davvero avuto con i problemi di prestazioni. Esistono altre distribuzioni di Linux che non presentano questo problema?

  • Sospetto che questi vari software cpufreq stiano causando il tuo problema di limitazione. Usa prefs, o file di configurazione, per personalizzare le tue esigenze.

  • O, almeno temporaneamente, disinstallali e verifica nuovamente le prestazioni del tuo computer.

Welp, è stato risolto. Sono felice che il problema sia stato risolto, ma è stato risolto misteriosamente.

Tentando di provare la risposta di @Doug Smythie e riattivare l'Intel-Pstate Governor e riavviare, i miei processori ora funzionano in modo ottimale con una potenza di elaborazione quasi completa.

Tutto quello che dovevo fare era / etc / default / grub file e cambiare GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT in GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT = "intel_pstate = enable quiet splash"

Una volta riavviato e testato la velocità della mia CPU, è andato tutto bene. Riavviato alcune volte e si attacca.

Il mistero è che questo era il governatore che stavo usando prima e non sono riuscito a ottenere questi risultati in precedenza. Grazie per tutto l'aiuto.

niente aiuta qui. 20.04.

'cpufreq-set -r --governor performance' non fa nulla, non aiuta neanche a rimuovere 'ondemand'.
